Shruti (Front Office Coordinator)
Originally from India, with over 8 years of experience in field of dentistry. A Dentist with Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery (BDS) from India and Master’s in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Hofstra University in New York, adding a diverse cultural viewpoint to her career. Aside from engaging with patients, she enjoys seeing how improving a patient’s smile affects their lives. Outside of work, she loves to travel and explore new places and spending time with her family.
Jennifer, RDH (Dental Hygienist)
Originally from Indiana, Jennifer has been a Texas Dental Hygienist for over 11 years. Besides being a Mom to two young boys, Jennifer finds purpose in serving her patients. She strongly believes that the mouth is the portal to systemic health. She enjoys genuine connection, easing dental anxiety and clinical excellence. Outside of work, she seeks spiritual growth, humility and deep conversations. She loves coffee, cats and anything creative. Jennifer has served our patients since 2019.
Dr. Melanie Gray, D.O., Board Certified in Family Medicine and OMT
Dr. Gray is an osteopathic family medicine physician dedicated to combining integrative healthcare and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatments (OMT). She has worked with Dr. Mirkal doing dental procedures for over 4 years and loves how our individual outcomes optimize patient wellness. She is originally from the Seattle area and her first career was as a professional ballet dancer in Boston and here in Fort Worth with Texas Ballet Theater. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at University of North Texas in Denton, went to medical school at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado and finished residency at the UNTHSC-Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth. Her company, Gray Osteopathic Wellness & Arts, located in Grapevine, provides a more holistic, wellness-based approach to your health, medical care and lifestyle.
Melinda Rogers, M.S., CCC-SLP
Melinda Rogers is an experienced and dedicated speech-language pathologist with over 30 years in the field. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University. Throughout her career, Melinda has worked in diverse settings including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health, schools, nursing homes, and private practice.
Melinda specializes in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, an area of expertise that focuses on the proper function of the muscles of the face and mouth. Her journey into this specialty began when she recognized the significant impact orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs) have on dental health, speech clarity, swallowing, and sleep quality. Driven by a commitment to improve patient outcomes, she has pursued advanced training in this field while also addressing her own orofacial myofunctional disorder (OMD), which was impacting her dental health, jaw alignment, and airway.
In her practice, Melinda collaborates closely with dental professionals to provide integrated care for patients with orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs). Her comprehensive assessments and tailored therapy programs are designed to address the unique needs of each patient, ensuring they achieve optimal outcomes in both dental health and functional abilities. Her holistic approach not only enhances dental treatments but also improves patients’ quality of life.
Melinda is passionate about educating both patients and professionals on the importance of orofacial myofunctional therapy and its role in comprehensive oral health care. She is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM), and The Myo Membership. She regularly participates in educational conferences to further her training.
Outside of her professional work, Melinda enjoys painting, ice skating, and spending time outdoors with her miniature dachshund Gryffin.
